One woman's adventures in writing.
NEW FOR SUMMER 2007!
Come create with me at the zoo! I will be a Visiting Artist at the North Carolina Zoo's new kidZone exhibit in June and July. We'll be exploring nature through art, stories, movement, and games. Hope to see you there! Click here to learn more about the North Carolina Zoological Park. In addition, in July I will be teaching a four-week course called Exploring Nature Through Art for children and a half-day journaling workshop for adults through the Alamance Arts Council. Click here to read more about my upcoming classes. When I'm not too busy playing, I write essays, poetry, and fiction. My subjects range from travel memoir to unlikely women in sports to the environment.
My current projects include: co-writing the book to accompany a deck of Divination Cards and a short story collection.
